AML Compliance Assistant

Job Description

On behalf of our client, a top lottery provider based in Malta, we are looking for an AML Compliance Assistant. The position is an excellent opportunity to develop your career further.

The responsibilities include:

- Assisting the relevant Departments in carrying out KYC, Due Diligence and Ongoing Monitoring duties as well as detecting frauds/fraud attempts;

- Contributing to designing, implementing and maintaining internal AML/CFT compliance manuals, policies, procedures and systems;

- Day-to-day oversight of AML/CFT measures, policies, controls and procedures;

- Regular oversight reporting, including reporting of non-compliance, to the Senior Officer;

- Being appointed as ‘Designated Employee’;

- Assisting in other compliance tasks and projects.

Requirements

- Working knowledge AML/CFT EU and Maltese framework (4th AML directive, MGA guidelines, PMLFTA and Regulations, FIAU Implementing Procedures);

- Good knowledge and understanding of AML best practices;

- Experience working in a regulated environment;

- 1 or more years of experience in player verification, risk, Fraud, AML and KYC processes within iGaming;

- Able to highlight risks based on findings;

- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and data security standards;

- Genuine interest in Compliance;

- Compliance background and familiarity with the most relevant frameworks (Regulatory Compliance, GDPR, RG);

- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks from other jurisdictions (EU and 3rd Countries);

- Familiar with Open Source Intelligence techniques.
