Accountant (based in Malta)
Job Description
We are seeking to recruit an Accountant for a well-established global financial institution. You will be responsible for a number of entities within the group, working with both local and international finance teams and reporting to the finance manager.
What is expected of you?
Prepare client management accounts and other financial reports as required
Prepare annual client financial statements and liaising with clients' auditors
Update bank accounts on a regular basis
Prepare regulatory financial returns
Ensure all financial reports for internal use are completed in a timely manner

Requirements
What are you expected to bring?
A University Degree in Accountancy or equivalent/ACCA completed
Able to work to meet agreed deadlines
Competence in Excel and accounting packages
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
Experience in auditing will be considered an asset
