We need interns of tourism and/or marketing studies!

Do Guatemala is a young, growing company, offering travels, volunteering and Spanish classes as main offer. As an intern of Do Guatemala, you will have very different and varied daily tasks. We run many different products in different locations, which all need attention, and therefore the company makes a lot of promotion. The office is for the moment home-based (separate entrance) so clients don´t walk in, but you don´t work in the office always, as you need to visit people, projects, banks, etcetera. These are the activities of every day :

- Promotion (social media, deliver photo and video material)
- Monitor volunteers on site (visits to volunteer projects, provide general assistance)
- Develop new products or improve and promote the existing offer
- Establish new contacts for cooperations
- Investigate the possibility to partner with other travel agencies in Central America to strengthen each other´s offer, in making combination trips to more countries
- Possibilities to travel to Antigua once in a while, as the company also has volunteers there, and they need to visit and assist the volunteers in Antigua as well

Depending on the university´s requirements, specific assignments can be designed too.

Doing your internship with Do Guatemala is a great way to get to know the real Guatemala! You work with local volunteer projects, local Spanish teachers and providers from the tourism branch. Besides that, you assist volunteers and travelers to get around in Guatemala.

Spanish
