Summer Service Internship Program
Program Description
Intern with the Zanzibar Summer Service Internship program and become an unofficial ambassador who supports grassroots initiatives, development, and education. You will assist local NGOs in a range of fields including environmental protection, public health outreaches, and human rights. You may also manage clubs in private and public schools. This is an ideal opportunity to learn Kiswahili and become immersed in the local community to learn about the Zanzibar culture.
Program highlights
- Teach IT, computer literacy, and English to students in the primary and high school ages
- Develop a documentary film featuring the NGO
- Conduct research initiatives, outreach programs, and help to raise awareness
