Program Description
A medical Elective with us is an opportunity for medical students and professionals to experience health delivery services in Kenya . As a medical student, you will be given a platform to connect with the healthcare practitioners that delivers healthcare services with limited medical resources.
Undertaking a medical elective in a developing country like Kenya allows you to see the medical field in a different perspective. Through mentorship and close supervision, you will be able to gather hands on experience in various clinical specialties as well as shadow the doctors delivering various medical services. This way you come out from the program well vast with diverse treatment procedures in tropical diseases such as Malaria and Typhoid as well as with improved medical skills and knowledge knowledge.
Apart from the medical rotations, you will also have an opportunity to take part in volunteer work like medical camps and medical missions trips for the benefit of the host community.
Our placement is available for 2 weeks but you can extend your stay to your desirable duration as may be advised by our team.

Program highlights
we normally plan for a wildlife Safari to Masai Mara National Reserve in the middle of the program to help the student tour the beautiful country of Kenya and break the monotony of the hospital wards and theater rooms.
