Program Description

The Global Advocate Program (GAP) is a competitive, professional training where you gain first-hand experience and make a positive impact in the world! We partner with Community Based Organizations to create community initiated sustainable development projects. Advocates are paired with a project in Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, Guatemala or India focused on one of Mama Hope's six program areas: clean water, agriculture and food security, health care, education, or youth development. The Advocate's primary focus is running a fundraising campaign to raise $20,000 towards their project. They communicate with their partner communities to formulate a detailed work plan.
(2) In-Country Field Experience and Project Execution
