Dual Internship

The Dual Internship & Professional Study/Work program is for international applicants who are looking for permanent employment in a company based out of Germany. In order for applicants to be able to find a sustainable job in Germany, they will need to be a part of a vocational education program that lasts at least two years. This will take place at an accredited school and as part of an internship position with a vetted employer. This is known as the dual education program. Program participants will receive a stipend during their period of education. Another method is for applicants to gain the Foreign Skills Approval (FSA) certificate so that their work expertise obtained outside of Germany will be recognized as the equivalent to a German exam. Applicants must specify this preference in the Individual Administrative Statement. This would allow the applicant to potentially be exempt from having to attend courses in order to show their expertise.
