Anyone 18 years of age or older can volunteer in our projects! To participate in the Fundacion Bolivar Education Programs you don't need to have previous education or any organizational experience, that's what makes us different from many other voluntary programs. Previous experience is perfectly o.k. of course.
The main objective of the Volunteer Program is for our volunteers to work on a project that is related to your education or your interests. For example, if you are a cook, you could help make food for children at an orphanage or for tourists at an ecological project. If you are good at painting, you could run painting workshops for women who are serving sentences or for children who have disabilities. What's important for us is that you are pleased with your experience. You are therefore more than welcome to come with your desires.
The Simon Bolivar Volunteer Program has many programs within varied fields. If for some reason you cannot find a project that suits your needs or interests, or you would like to do something more specific with a specific organization, we will do our best to accommodate your wishes.
