Program Description

The Master’s Degree Program in Russian Studies goes over a wide swath of Russian history, politics, culture, language and society, both past and present. An intensive study of the Russian language accompanies the close study of issues with integration, modernity and identity in the broad context of Post-Soviet Eurasia. This academic background will prepare graduates for success in fields of tourism, business, diplomatic agencies, cultural institutions, media and centers for social issues and outreach.

We provide academic flexibility so that you can enroll for a semester or a year. Take the courses that you are interested in and we will present you with a 30 ECTS certificate that can be used as transferred credit at your university in Russian Language and Studies.

Identity: Defining Russia’s cultural and historical identity

This course foundation is an overview of the wide range of features that comprise Russian identity. Courses in this segment cover cultural and historical heritage while also exploring the multitude of present-day Russian identities.
