Master of Polymer Engineering

The Master of Polymer Engineering is a two-year programme taught in English language at the Faculty of Technology (FT) of Tomas Bata University in Zlín. The processing of natural and synthetic polymers is a complex issue, so studying this programme has quite an interdisciplinary character. Graduates are experts with deep knowledge, skills and experimental experience not only in the field of only basic chemistry and physics, but also specific knowledge relating to the structure and properties of macromolecular compounds. Attention is also paid to machines, equipment, tools and economics related to manufacturing of polymer material products. The content of this course relates to the requirements of experts for production and processing of plastics and rubber. Special attention is paid to the life cycle and recycling of polymers, “green polymers”, and new trends and innovations in this field.

Scholarship:Students in this programme meeting criteria may receive the TBU Master’s scholarship (CZK 60,000 i.e. approx. EUR 2,230 per academic year).
