Program Description

Lake Tahoe Community College is a small two-year college with approximately 2,500 students in total and 60 international students. The staff and faculty are dedicated to providing the highest quality education. Combine the surroundings with the LTCC campus and what you get is a world-class educational experience. The College offers courses necessary for transfer to a four-year college or university and has transfer admission agreements with schools like UC-Santa Barbara, and UC-Davis. In addition, we offer an Associate in Arts, Associate in Arts for Transfer, or Associate in Science for Transfer. We are "California's premier destination college."

Program highlights

The College is located in South Lake Tahoe, California, a small resort community in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains at 6,200 feet above sea level. The town's main industries are casinos, tourism, and skiing. World-renowned hiking trails are a short distance away from town including the Tahoe Rim Trail and Pacific Crest Trail. The permanent population is about 30,000 residents. The College is near stores, restaurants, parks, the post office, and the beach; making it very accessible for students to walk or ride their bike around town.
