International Tourism Management

Program Description

The tourism programme combines tourism-specific courses with aspects of business management and sociology. It also takes a variety of approaches in teaching students about intercultural aspects – the interactions between cultures that tourism operations and travellers alike must constantly navigate. All in all, superb preparation for a successful career in the tourism sector. The International Tourism Management curriculum is entirely in English and requires that students learn an additional foreign language as well. This is why the programme’s graduates find jobs all over the world. The course comprises 120 ECTS credits and is designed to be completed within four semesters, with the final semester devoted exclusively to the master’s thesis. In addition to excellent career prospects in a growing market, students have the option of pursuing an academic career and study for a doctorate after graduation.
