Located close to the village of Benahavis, Los Flamingos Golf boasts stunning surroundings, beautiful sea views and an expansive course with 18 holes. Visitors can also enjoy the local Spanish flora, and with a par of 71, this course is often pleasant and occasionally challenging for any enthusiast. Facilities of the Golf course include a driving range, a hand-manicured grass tee-hitting area, and two chipping and putting greens. Golfers can also enjoy a bite to eat at the La Cantina restaurant and bar, once they have finished their game.
Everyone who's anyone knows that Valderrama is one of the most famous golf clubs across Europe and worldwide. The club has played host to a number of tournaments, including the PGA European Tour and the 32nd Ryder Cup and has also hosted the first two editions of the World Golf Championships and American Express Championship. While the club itself is a private members club, there are a limited number of 'starting times' offers for visitors most days in the year.
If you want to golf in a stunning location, with fantastic scenic views, Alcaidesa Links is where you'll want to go. Golfers can enjoy beautiful views of Gibraltar, Morocco and the Sierra Nevada while out on the course. Alcaidesa Links is also ideal for golfers of any level, from the most experienced professionals to those just starting out. There are even special courses available for children, making it a great golfing course for every family day out.
Named after the river Rio Real, the golf course itself is built around the iconic river, making it a beautiful setting for the 18-hole course. With a par of 72, the course makes for a pleasant and mildly challenging form of entertainment during the winter months, with ample foliage providing good shelter from the hot sun during the summer.
Widely recognised as one of the most beautiful golf courses across the Costa Del Sol, the Torrequebrada has been opened for over 40 years and has seen its fair share of celebrities, including Bing Crosby who has mentioned it as one of his personal favourites. It is often the selected venue for high profile golfing events and the colourful flora surrounding the golf course is always a stunning sight to behold. Facilities provided include golf club rental, a club house and nearby restaurant for you to rest after your game.
The El Puerto golf course was designed by former golfing champion Manuel Pinero and opened up to the public in the early 2000s. Located just outside the town of Puerto de Santa Maria, enthusiasts can enjoy the beautiful 18-hole par-72 course that is ideal for golfers of all skill levels. It is a reasonably flat course. The trees and foliage provide ample shade for a hot day and some unlikely hazards add a bit of challenge to an otherwise easy set of courses. However, it makes for a wonderful day out if you're not too passionate about making golf into a competition.
