Thailand - Learn, Volunteer and Travel

The orphanage is located in the Sing Buri Province in Thailand. The orphanage houses local orphaned, children and has their own integrated primary and secondary school. The school is also open for local, impoverished families. The orphanage is a bit outdated, so volunteers have a variety of responsibilities. When working in the school, volunteers will help teach the children and assist with after school programs. There is also a small vegetable garden for the children, which volunteers will help take care of. You will also help with light construction work and renovations to help improve the overall quality of the orphanage. The orphanage encourages volunteers to bring new and innovated ideas to be implemented at the orphanage.

1. A one week cultural orientation that teaches volunteers about the Thai culture.
2. An opportunity to live in a new country while giving back to a community in need.
3. The chance to learn about Thai Boxing, the Siam culture, and Thai cooking.
4. Work with children that are in need of role models and a proper education.
5. Travel to nearby temples and shrines located in the city.
