Program Description

EHN Nepal is looking for experienced teachers or native English speaking people to help improve the level of English in rural schools in Nepal and will help the Nepali English teachers in the classroom. You will be living with a host family in their home close to the local school where you will be teaching mainly English but if you have other teaching skills then please tell us when you apply as we can always put them to good use.
You will be helping teach English at a basic level to children aged 6-7 up to 16yrs old with a focus on pronunciation and grammar. Your hours are typically 10am to 4pm Sunday to Friday with Friday normally being a half day.
This is a great way to see rural life in Nepal while helping the local community you will be living with. EHN charge £12 or $18 a day for all food, accommodation and donation, about half your money goes to the host family with the rest going to the school as materials and equipment and EHN to continue working in Nepal.
