Program Description
Teaching Position:
As a volunteer or an intern, you will be responsible for helping to teach courses including human rights, cooking, history, geography, mathematics, and English. You will also have the option to continue being mentored. Volunteers will also need to read books to groups, grade and assign classwork and homework, and discuss any issues with the children with counselors, administration, and parents.
Volunteers may also be expected to assist with administrative duties that include helping classes respond to pen pal letters, typing out exams, help procure teaching materials, talking with parents, and helping out in the office.
