Experience the real Nepal and rebuild the country’s future

You could spend 5, 7 or 10 weeks living and working in rural Nepal – one of the world’s most beautiful and enchanting countries. Join a Raleigh expedition, with volunteers from Nepal and around the world, to help rebuild the country’s future.

You will be living and working alongside the local community on a project rebuilding houses and communities in Gorkha – one of the areas most affected by last year’s earthquakes. As part of this once in a lifetime opportunity you will live with a local family and get to experience authentic Nepali culture and hospitality.

You will also get to trek in the foothills of Himalayas, experiencing some of the world’s most sensational landscapes on routes away from the tourist trail.

If you’re 17 to 24, you can join us a volunteer. If you’re 25 or over, you can lead or support our expeditions.
