Building and Community Development

Program Description

One of the biggest problems in many countries in Africa is poor infrastructure. Our programme brings volunteers to help alleviate this issue by building schools like the Mkunhku school as well as roofing and repairing homes. Over the last two years, we have distributed supplies and food relief during famines. While you need no real qualifications baring dedication and a willingness to get dirty, we do welcome those with backgrounds or experiences in some field of construction. Otherwise we have local LSU staff and labourers to guide you.

While these projects are ongoing, we really appreciate the effort and impact made by volunteers.

You may participate in projects as short as one week all the way up to a month. Each of the current projects vary and so please inquire to see what is available. We look forward to hearing from you today!
