Program Description

This four-week program offers you an incredible cultural immersion in the beautiful city of Rome. We will use the streets, churches and museums of the "Eternal City" as our classroom as we study its culture and history. All courses will be taught primarily in the field, and the cost of museum admissions and/or transportation is included in the program fees. In addition we will spend a long weekend together in a nearby city in Italy (the destination will be determined each year by the Academic Director) where students will explore the art, culture and wonders of that particular destination. This trip, including transportation and lodging, is also included in the program fees.
Classes are held from Monday to Thursday to allow for long weekends for individual travel or group excursions. Students take 3-credit courses.

Program highlights

Courses are focused in Fine Arts, Literature, History and Film and some of the classes are actually taught in the museums and streets. Cost of admission and transportation are already covered in the program.
Also, one full weekend in Florence, Italy is included in the program.
