Program Description
Heidelberg is a charming college town that not only has a small town feel, but also an energetic vibe from local German college students. The city is a combination of history and modern innovation. There are many different bus or train systems in Heidelberg that provide students easy access to travel in the city, out into Germany, and beyond. Housing for students is in the Villa Krehl, which is over a century old. The Villa is close to the school and is located in a safe neighborhood. Many activities are available for students, whether it's shopping, biking, hiking, or joining the local soccer, basketball, or tennis teams for their practice.
Program highlights
The school in Heidelberg offers a variety of courses and prides themselves especially on their business and political science programs. Even the field trips included in the program are geared toward business and political science learning as they take students to such places as Strasbourg, France (Headquarters of the European Union), Frankfurt (Germany's financial center), and a visit to the John Deere plant. This does not exclude other majors though, as other possible field trips may include Berlin, touring various castles, and a walking tour of the city of Worms.
