Descriere program
New Zealand has everything from extreme mountains to coastal farmlands, and volunteers here can't help but to fall in love with the landscape of this beautiful island country. Because of its remote location, New Zealand was one of the last places on earth to be settled by people. The majority of the population is of European descent, while the indigenous Māori make up the largest minority group. New Zealanders describe their culture as relaxed and care-free, but they do have a passion for social welfare.
As a volunteer in New Zealand, you'll be able to volunteer on a variety of projects, including farm-work, environmental conservation/education efforts, or working with the elderly or people with mental or physical handicaps.
As a volunteer in New Zealand, you will be hosted by ACVE, ICYE’s New Zealander partner organization. Each year ACVE welcomes 50 volunteers from around the world to share their skills and experience life in New Zealand.
