Green Tourism Project in the South of France

Become a volunteer with our program and help to work on a project promoting green tourism as you are immersed in the French lifestyle. The project will take up a minimum of 20 hours and maximum of 30 hours a week. You will reside with a homestay and enjoy a comfortable accommodation setting and meals. You will be able to practice and improve your French through conversations with your host family and with the local community.

This project seeks to promote responsible tourism that is respectful towards the environment. Tourists are able to experience local nature as they participate in horseback riding, trekking with donkeys, and hiking.

Your role will be to help create wooden treehouses and mobile homes that are centered around an activity area and a small restaurant. We aim to encourage travelers to explore this region while helping contribute to the sustainable development of the area.

We ask that volunteers be flexible and willing to learn a variety of building techniques. Responsibilities include:

- Wood construction
- Masonry
- Clearing areas and helping to garden
- Decorating /Land art
- Taking care of the animals
- Making cheese
- Welcoming visitors
- Assisting in the cottage

Host families provide support and training.

You will reside in a mobile home or a studio room in a cottage that houses 3 to 4 people.
