Descriere program
Students with Florida State University in Valencia’s study abroad program will be able to participate in two courses in Editing, Writing, and Media (EWM). Open to other majors as well as those of other English tracks, these courses also count towards the EWM track in the English department. Students will learn about all that goes into a final publication including an eye-catching design as well as experience-based journalistic-style articles. Students will also learn about real-world editing and building up skills through hands-on exercises. Students will be able to use a digital publication in the magazine-style for applying to graduate school or presenting to potential employers.
With plenty to write about, do, and see, Valencia has a wide range of activities on offer including European football, famous art museums, and medieval churches. Valencia has a rich artistic, architectural, and cultural heritage that spans from being controls by groups such as the Moors and the Romans. There is plenty on offer including theaters, science museums, a planetarium, and an aquarium. The study center is located closely to the El Mercado Central which sells local dishes such as tapas and paella as well as vegetables and fruit. There are many organizations that teach Flamenco dancing as well as possibilities for exploring the beach and the Turia Riverbed Gardens. Be inspired to write as you embrace the experiences, sounds, and sights that Valencia has to offer.
