English in a Castle

This is a unique course for students aged 12-15 (or 10+ for groups) that provides an experience of British life in an lovely seaside town and the opportunity to learn English in an exceptional environment: Whitstable Castle.

ILH has successfully taught foreign languages for over 30 years, tailoring their courses specifically for the specific students' requirements and choosing teachers known for their enthusiasm and expertise.

ILH are particularly well known for their teaching method of students staying in the teacher’s home, thereby completely immersing the student in the foreign language – one of the best and most efficient ways of learning a foreign language. Since it started in the 1980′s, ILH has developed into the largest and most professional language home-stay organisations in the world.

Whitstable is a very popular seaside town located in the county of Kent, on the South East coast of England. This town has a long fishing history and is particularly famous for its oysters, which have at least been collected since Roman times. The town is attracts people from all around due to its vibrant festivals, restaurants and boutique shops. Whitstable Castle and gardens have been home to local merchants since the 1780′s, and have remained a landmark attraction throughout its long and interesting history.

This programme is available all year round for individuals or groups for stays of any duration.
