Senior Accounts Executive (based in Malta)

We are looking to recruit a Senior Accounts Executive for a prominent company within the FMCG sector. If you have experience in accounts, an analytical mindset and a passion for numbers, ceek would like to hear from you!

What’s expected of you?

Manage the accounts payable processes
Prepare, examine and analyse accounting records, management accounts, financial statements, and other financial reports
Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts
Prepare VAT and Excise Duty returns
Perform monthly balance sheet reviews
Assist in the audit process
Prepare other ad hoc reports and related follow ups

What are you expected to bring?

An advanced diploma in Accounting and preferably working towards ACCA qualification
A minimum of 2 years’ practical experience in an accounting environment
The ability to work on your own initiative
Good communication skills
