Data centre Architect

A senior Data centre Infrastructure architect with expertise on DC infrastructure build and migrate with key technologies:, Cisco Network and Security, Cisco UCS, knowledge on Linux, Virtualisation (ACI, VMWare, KVM etc), open shiftandAnsible.
Ability to architect & design a scalable and manageable solution for complex and Heterogeneous infrastructure with emerging and open source technologies, present the solution to a varied audience including Chief architects, program heads and Design communities.
Responsibilities:
• Guide and Manage commissioning of cisco UCS servers into data centres (racking/cabling and configuration)as per customer’s DC guideline and standards
• Guide & Manage the build engineers to build operating system and open shift platforms as per industry build standards and customer build / OS security standards
• Creation of designs, implementation plan and any other artefacts required for the projects and get it approved with the customer approval authorities.
• Liaising with various business owners, stakeholders&partners to gather the requirements.
• Creating the Design artefacts such as High & Low-level designs, Implementation and test plan for complex infrastructure (i.e. Compute, Network, Security & open source)
• Present solutions to senior stakeholders including chief architects, transformation and program heads, lead designers and enterprise architects
• Lead the design and build activities for data centre implementation, test and handover.

Experience in the following technologies:
• Data Centre Network and Security (Cisco DC Network, Cisco Firepower and Cisco UCS)
• Red Hat Linux
• Virtualisation (Cisco ACI, VMWare, KVM etc)
• Open stack
• Open shift platforms
• Ansible
Additional below skills will be a plus:
- Kafka (i.e. Kafka broker, zookeeper, Kafka connectors, Kafka streaming)
- Confluent tools (Control centre, rebalancer, replicator etc)
