Summer Service Internship Program
Program Description
Intern abroad with America’s Unofficial Ambassadors program and get the opportunity to live and work in Tajikistan. The Summer Service Internship program was developed to pair NGOs and schools with unofficial ambassadors to assist with developing the community, engaging the youth, and promoting education. Interns will have the opportunity to learn a language of their choice: Russian, Tajik, or Farsi. Unofficial ambassadors will be able to immerse themselves in the local culture.
Program highlights
- Teach English at a local boarding school for orphans
- Teach special needs kids
- Assist the grassroots NGO with Internet Freedom initiatives
- Plan and execute events at the Bactria Cultural Centre
